Do I get my own deer meat back?

Absolutely.  We take every precaution to ensure that each order is kept separate.  Your deer is tagged when you drop it off.  Each deer is cut separately with tags made for each item you order, all coming back together under a master tag and your own section in the freezer as your items are completed.  The meat that you pick up will be YOUR meat.  All of your meat will be vacuum sealed for freshness and extended shelf life.  Satisfaction is guaranteed. 

How much meat should I get back?

You should get roughly 1/3 of the deer's live weight back in just raw deer meat, before adding fat and before smoking/drying.

How long do I have to pick up me deer?

Upon completion of your deer, you will be contacted by someone at Josh’s Deer Processing.  At which time, you will be given seven (7) days to pick up your deer — we will inform you of your pick-up date deadline.  After the deadline, your deer will be considered abandoned and it will be posted for sale on our Facebook page.  If you are unable to pick up your deer with-in those seven days, it is YOUR responsibility to inform us and to make necessary arrangements for us to hold your deer longer. Do not assume your deer will be available after the deadline if you have not communicated. I will not be held liable if you “forget” to pick up your deer.
